Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj
May 19, 2023What can I say? This is a near perfect book. It reads just like classic super-hero books should read. The characterization is spot on for these iconic figures. Robin sticking his finger in Metamorpho's face is a thing of beauty. And the art is perfection. I'll say what I usually say at this point. Everyone should be reading this book. Everyone. Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez
May 16, 2023Batman / Superman: World's Finest #15 escalates the Simon Stagg murder mystery into a world-ending robot revolution without a single hero strong enough to stop it. The pacing is lightning quick to a fault, the laundry list of character cameos (some recent, others ancient) is astounding, and the art is perfect. Read Full Review

May 16, 2023: Once again, Waid, Mora and Bonvillain deliver strong sequential storytelling. The art absolutely rocks and Waid writes a tight script that's well-paced and has strong characterization, where Dick Grayson is a highlight. This continues to be DC's best comic, and I can't recommend it enough! Read Full Review

May 16, 2023Overall, Batman/Superman: World's Finest #15 moves fast but Waids pacing paired with Moras art orchestrates it all perfectly. The series as a whole continues to be a versatile book for all readers with really no bad time to jump in. Read Full Review

Dark Knight News - Bryant Lucas
May 18, 2023In typical fashion, World's Finest #15 is a hard pivot into a different genre. This arc started as a "who-done-it?, and now it's become a Sci-Fi techno-apocalypse. Please, don't forget, this is only issue number three in the arc. By the end of this story, Batman and Superman could be riding a giant space dragon while jousting with the Balrog, but that's the fun of World's Finest. Does the book move too fast? At times, yes, but it's never boring. Read Full Review

The only 'bad' part of this issue is that the new villain has a pretty underwhleming and lame name

Every issue this series proves itself to be the best comic DC is publishing. Nonstop action with some great new character designs, plus lots of cameos from familiar faces and some deep cuts. Waid nails each character's personality, even if they're only in a couple panels.

This is awesome. Robo-apocolypse with some amazing rarely used cameos of many of the old robot foes?? Yes please. Great story continues? Yes. Tense high? Yes. Stake high? Higher than ever. Waid and Mora once again please. Gold standard right here.

Stellar stuff, I love the obscure characters he uses. Metamorpho, the Challengers of the Unknown, Metal Men, Amazo, to name a few.

Strong but kind of all over the place at times. I get the cut ins with all the other groups but some of it just felt like filler. Also having two brand new super villains to contend with in one book is a lot. It's just a dense issue that could afford to be stretched a little more.

Another great issue with Superman being out of the fight for most of the issue, Batman showing up wearing armor made of the metal men and a couple of villains that seem nigh impossible to beat. When I saw Robin lying on the ground with his leg burned by acid, I did feel for him. Not sure how he's still walking on it. Of course, they will discount the fact that his leg would be incredibly scarred. Good issue overall. Some imaginative sequences.

This one goes all over the place and it was actually a bit of a chore to read, which is insane to say about this title. I still enjoyed it but it was bumpier than usual. JOIN THE DISCORD: https://discord.gg/xJz6buvNFZ MY PHYSICAL COLLECTION (FOR SHOWING OFF): https://psycamorean.libib.com/

Waid throws a lot of good ideas against the wall, but we seems to have lost the thread along the way. Wasn't this about Bruce Wayne being accused of murder? Very silver agey, for good and for ill.
