Heartless has an extra-giant jar that has Blockbuster's name on it, but as a man of refined taste, Heartless doesn't just collect any type of heart...he waits for someone to experience a specific emotion in particular before taking it all away from them and adding it into his collection. Does Nightwing have what it takes to save the life of the very man who's been trying to take everything away from Dick Grayson, including his life?
This issue has it all and it's a perfect reminder of how long it's been since this character has had a dynamite creative team at the helm. Read Full Review

The Nightwing/Blockbuster dynamic takes a drastic turn this month, one that means their relationship will never be the same again. In fact, it makes the previous issue's shocking ending feel positively tame by comparison. The next month's gonna drag! Read Full Review
The first time I really felt like I wanted to give a 6/5 as a score on a comic occurred when reviewing Injustice 2 Annual #2. Nightwing #95 has so many similar elements, even if it leans more into the fun than the psychological. It should come as no surprise both these issue are by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo. Is there any doubt that Nightwing is DC's best mainstream superhero title? Read Full Review
As always, Taylor creates an exciting and well-crafted narrative that highlights both the humanity and community reliance of Nightwing. Read Full Review
Every issue of this book seems to be tenser than the one before it, and we haven't slowed down once. Read Full Review
Nightwing has been consistent thus far, if sometimes a little slow, so the series deserves the benefit of the doubt. Outside of its last page reveal, Nightwing #95 is a near-perfect issue and a return to form for the juggernaut team of Taylor, Redondo, and Lucas, doing a lot of work to highlight the past and future of Nightwing. Hopefully, the team will be able to stick with the landing of the Blockbuster arc, and at the very least, the run (and issue in particular) has given Nightwing a strong supporting cast and visual style that should continue long past this story. ‘Nightwing' pits the will of two powerful men against one another as a variety of threads that have been weaved for almost two years are starting to come together to help create a picture of Bldhaven's future. This series continues to be a beautiful character-driven emotional ride into the heart of the DC Universe, bringing some great energy to the Batline of books. Read Full Review
Nightwing #95 is a thrilling and expertly drawn issue from Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo. There is a definite emphasis on action and spectacle in these past few issues, but Taylor's slower pace beforehand makes this change of pace work. While some of the fan service moments can be overdone, it's hard to deny how entertaining it is to finally see Dick turn the tables on Blockbuster and his cronies. The series is as focused as ever at this point and Taylor has set himself up well for the inevitable climax coming in the next months. Read Full Review
FINAL THOUGHTSNightwing #95 is a fast-paced comic book with an impactful ending that changes the game in "The Battle For Bludhaven's Heart. Leading up to that ending we get a lot of great moments that will excite both Batman Family and Titans fans. Nightwing #95 continues to feature some of the best character acting and superhero drama in comics today. It may speed along too quickly with plot twists, but it manages to blend endearing characters with superhero theatrics well every time. Read Full Review

Nightwing #95 is a crime countdown that reads in a surprisingly fun, almost light mood until you reach the final pages and the gloves come off. It's a good superhero version of a partnership with law enforcement that moves at a good clip. Read Full Review
Much loved. The war between Nightwing and Roland Desmond aka Blockbuster is at its peak and the cavalry arrives to sound the charge against Roland. Yes, Tom Taylor does not present a solitary Nightwing who can solve everything on his own by sheer force of talent or will. He has methodically built a support force around the character because for him, a hero simply cannot move the lines alone. A city plagued by corruption (especially police), a mafia, a tyrant, a serial killer in slumber... requires a little more than a hero: a cohort of heroes. The same goes for Batman, who is far from being the only fighter in Gotham. They are around every corner. In short, I liked the development of this story and its resolution and even if the final twistmore
I really enjoyed this issue. I think Taylor is doing a great job with this title. There was plenty of action and twists and turns. Batwoman showing up along with the Titans and a coordinated attack on Blockbuster. It was great. The end felt very Bane. Looking forward to the next one.
The pacing of the issue was much better, and the art is great, but the issue shows the main problem of this run - Nightwing is portrayed as very nice but not too bright and quite incompetent and is hardly able to do anything on his own.
As usual, it looks great and seems to be taking forever to get somewhere. And haven't we already done the "Nightwing gets his friends to help" thing?
Art is good, end.
I wish something interesting came out of this crossovers instead of them just being there to fight Canon fodders and bystanders. I wish there was a bigger lesson learned by them being there Like one of the consistent things in this book is Grayson trying to help the homeless and Raven could've mentioned the fact how her mother used to be homeless and how that led her to be manipulated when she was only seeking some shelter and help. Maybe mention how greatful she's that there was someone to help her and even though not everyone is going to be manipulated by a Demon worshipping Cult but everyone could use some help at their lowest and how happy she is that someone is doing it for others. That's a lesson there damnit. but all of them so far hmore
