This temporary run wraps up here, making room for Ryan North and Gavin Guidry’s upcoming run, but I think it did an excellent job of reminding us what makes the Flash family so unique. Read Full Review

Feb 25, 2026Bart Allen’s race against Darkseid leads to a strong finish in its’ arc finale. Waid and Cantwell dabble into DC lore with great success via the writing. Georgiev & Herms hit the marks with their sleek panels. It’s a fitting close to what has been a highly entertaining tale. Read Full Review

Feb 25, 2026The Flash #30 concludes this DC KO tie-in, serving as a fun Flash story that has little impact on the event as a whole. Read Full Review

AIPT - George Loftus
Feb 25, 2026Mark Waid and Cantwell manage the impressive feat of packing so much new heart into the climax of a story that centers on one we already know the ending to. The Flash gets a new creative team next month and it’s easy to be excited about what the future holds for the character, but I’m just so impressed at how they handled what the past already held for him. Mar 03, 2026The Final Verdict In conclusion, The Flash issue #30 feels like a solid and rewarding climax to a mixed bag story that has largely felt inconsistent in tone as well as quality. The Flash issue #30 sees the conclusion to the Impulse Control storyline. Although it feels as if there were several missed opportunities along the way, the ending serves as a satisfying conclusion to both this storyline and the creative run for the character. Feb 26, 2026The Flash #30 is the kind of issue that looks like a win from a distance, a big, pretty Crisis‑adjacent brawl with Darkseid, three generations of Speedsters, and the fate of the Speed Force all tangled together, yet up close it reads like a comic that is sprinting to meet obligations instead of walking you through a complete, satisfying story. If you have been following DC K.O., read the previous issue, and enjoy watching clever artists find new ways to stage speed fights across collapsing timelines, this will probably scratch that itch for you. If you are a casual reader or someone with a tight pull list who needs clarity, emotional focus, and a self‑contained payoff for every four dollars, this installment feels too confusing and overstuffed to justify the spend. An excellent wrap-up to a nail-biting, sprawling adventure that revisits one of the key moments in DC’s history and also sees the Flash clan throwing down with Darkseid himself. The art doesn’t quite deliver at the same level as the writing, unfortunately. The finale sets the stage for new adventures with a new creative team.
