Aug 26, 2026Absolute Catwoman reveals one major secret about the yarn, but the heart of its story is the relationship between Selina Kyle and her best friends Victoria Sage and Helena Bertinelli. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez
Aug 30, 2026While not a perfect reunion for the old friends by the end of Absolute Catwoman #3 we see the Calicos back together stronger than before. Scott Snyder and Che Grayson continued to do a great job blending flashbacks with present day to build up how tightknit the Calicos were. Read Full Review

Aug 26, 2026Selina Kyle has one last chance to save Holly, but the past won’t let her accept help. Snyder and Grayson force Kyle’s choice in accepting help or forging onward alone. Bengal and Niro hit the marks when moving the drama forward. A fascinating look at trust amongst thieves in a world of darkness. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - George Serrano
Sep 01, 2026Absolute Catwoman #3 is a thrilling continuation that delivers fantastic world-building alongside deeply personal emotional stakes. Che Grayson does an incredible job connecting Cassandra Cain’s vendetta directly to the Calicos' youthful mistakes, turning a classic comic rivalry into an emotionally resonant confrontation. The reluctant reunion of the crew gives the narrative a fantastic spark, and the stage is set for a massive clash with Lady Shiva. Read Full Review

Aug 29, 2026Writing and artwork remain solid, but I think Absolute Catwoman is not spending enough time establishing itself without being distracted by excess bits. Read Full Review

Get Your Comic On - Luke Deckard
Aug 26, 2026Absolute Catwoman has energetic art, but it lacks a well-balanced story, character depth, and the grit of other Absolute titles. Perhaps this might suggest that as the Absolute universe expands, it stretches the premise of this dark, brutal concept too thin. Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - BJ Shea
Aug 27, 2026Being thrown into this issue I didn't really feel lost and it was easy to pick up what was going on. Is this Yarn machine that everyone is after pretty goofy? The machine that rewrites someone's past and future? Yes it is. It makes the clean slate protocol from The Dark Knight Rises look as obsolete as a VCR but it is what it is with the Absolute Universe at this point so I guess I’ll go along for the ride. I can't get a grip on this series. But overall this was one fantastic issue, really good...what a difference with the previous issue.
I can't say with full intend that this will be the case for the next issue. -

Not bad… but the worst absolute series (not that detrimental since the whole line is good). I think the main fault here is that absolute catwoman is not that different from regular DCU catwoman. I don’t always love absolute flash and green lantern, but Wally and Jo definitely feel like distinct versions of flash and green lantern. The yarn AI machine is a silly plot device. Overall, a fun read but it is, IMO, the only absolute series that doesn’t get the assignment…
