It's actually a cute action comic. You don't see a lot of them that are reading as smooth as this one. The challenge this absolute series has, is the fact that it is not brutal or devastating or groundbreaking. It's just a very approachable and solid comic.

It's a pretty solid read, but I also feel that this really hasn't done much to justify it being necessary. It's been stated in interviews, particularly by Snyder, that he doesn't want the Absolute line to get over-inflated just because it's been doing well (like, very well), and that he'd rather focus on quality, rather than quantity. Again, I don't think this is a bad book whatsoever. However, I am finding this to be the weakest book of the Absolute line thus far. Furthermore, it's not really selling me on being something that we needed, as I mentioned earlier. Yes, we're getting the introductions for Absolute versions of characters like Cassandra Cain (Batgirl) and Helena Bertinelli (Huntress), but those are really the biggest talking poi more
