Mark Waid’s characterization of all the main players is the true star of this show. Waid’s Batman and Luthor are outstanding. Jun 27, 2026From Bad to Worse Justice League Unlimited #20 is another fantastic issue from the dynamite team of Waid, Mora, and Ossio that gives us action, thrills, and a clash of egos between Batman and Lex Luthor at the center of it all. I’m unsure where the “aliens with powers” subplot is heading. Right now, it just feels like a distraction from the main threat of the Brainiac Queen, but I trust that this creative team has a plan, and it will all make sense in the end. Read Full Review
