NO COSTUMES, NO GADGETS. CAN BATMAN AND ROBIN STILL SAVE THE DAY? What should have been a run-of-the-mill charity banquet for Bruce and Damian has, quite literally, gone up in flames--and now, without access to their costumes and gadgets, father and son find themselves fighting for their lives at the hands of the mysterious specter known only as Memento. But who is this new villain who set the blaze that threatens to disintegrate the Dynamic Duo, why does it replicate an infamous, century-old tragedy from Gotham's history, and what is Memento's connection to the Dark Knight's past? Batman and Robin might not have been a candidate for a breakout book in the All-In DC era, but it is quickly distinguishing itself as a can't miss series. Read Full Review
A good Gotham mystery is always welcome, and this new villain has a compelling and creepy style that goes a long way to selling this story, especially in the closing pages as he strikes again. Read Full Review

Batman and Robin #15 is a gripping chapter that pushes the boundaries of the Dynamic Duos resilience and resourcefulness. The storytelling seamlessly weaves past and present, keeping readers guessing about Memento's true intentions and Gothams haunted legacy. Batman and Robin #15 is a good, not great, second issue in the story arc. The opening sequence is intense and strong, and while I'm curious about Thomas Wayne's exploration, I can't help but see the flaws in how this issue plays out. Read Full Review
I enjoy the pacing that Johnson brings to the book. He is layering the story and introducing some of the horror-style elements used so effectively in Hulk. It's a very different book than what Joshua Williamson wrote, but so far it's engaging and I'm excited to see where it goes. Read Full Review
This continues the story of Bruce and Damian trapped in a burning building during a fundraiser. The story is slow-moving but has a few good elements. Not sure about the villain at this point. Damian is hit hard by the ultimate outcome of his actions and Bruce somehow gets his tuxedo jacket back. Let's hope this accelerates a bit.

Though Williamson's issues were pretty cringe when when it came to plot, each issue was lots of fun and he had a great voice for Damian. I generally like PKJ but found this issue to be fairly boring and a regression for Damian just so he can then build him back up. Hoping things improve next issue.
