As the world seems to be coming to an end, it makes sense that Wolverine would be one of the few left standing, and fighting. However, will his mission save what's left of the world, or will it just help him pass the time? Either way, there are quite a few more people left on his list, and when you're the best at what do, no one gets forgotten. Every Wolverine fan must add this one to their pull list! SNIKT! Issue two is an example of how a stellar creative team can take a very straight forward and pedestrian idea and turn it into something interesting and engaging through brilliant execution. Wolverine Revenge #2 is Wolverine at his bloodiest, wily best with some excellent cameos thrown in for good measure. Read Full Review

Given the name of the title it would've been easy for Jonathan Hickman and Greg Capullo to have this just be a showcase of Wolverine unbridled rage filled revenge. That is not what we get. Read Full Review
Pick up Wolverine: Revenge if you like Greg Capullo and slick-looking art, but expect a thin story set outside canon. It's a series of pretty pictures but not much else. Read Full Review
Wolverine: Revenge #2 looks great for letting Wolverine loose on his hated enemies, but the head-scratching plot completely falls apart after page four. It looks like Marvel asked Jonathan Hickman to scribble out an idea on the back of a napkin for Wolverine to kill a bunch of people, and the result is a convoluted, conflicted mess. Read Full Review
I love a good apocalyptic/post-apocalypse story. The interaction between Wolverine and Fury at the beginning was fun and well done, in fact all of Wolverine's various interactions were fun and well done in this book. Dani, Mastermind, Forge, Sabretooth, they all were well written and fitting for the characters. It goes without saying the book is fantastically drawn. It was a little surprising that he went for his classic rival first, something like that would usually be drawn out til near the end, but it was great. This is going to be an outstanding standalone mini-series and I can't wait for each next issue.
Plot
Wolverine is enraged to see how Deadpool, Omega Red, Sabretooth and Colossus cruelly murdered Bucky and Captain America, the world is in ruins and its heroes fallen, but Wolverine is going to get revenge.
To get those responsible he asks Forge for help, who takes him to the crater where Magneto is buried after stopping Asteroid M, from his corpse, Woverine recovers his helmet, which Forge reinforces.
Wolverine reaches the city controlled by Wyngarde, better known as Mastermind, who has the entire population controlled by his mental fantasy, Wolverine since he is immune to his mental power because he uses Magneto's helmet attacks him and asks him for the location of Deadpool, Omega Red, Sabretooth and Colossus more
Critics continue to fail this comic. The best Wolverine comic and years and it isn't being celebrated as such. Boring, negative, joyless critics.
Greg Capullo works really well as the artist for Wolverine. Maybe its because Wolverine is street level like Batman
You can’t convince me Jonathan Hickman actually wrote this. Nope, you can’t. This is standard Wolverine fare.
