• Caleb has been captured by Clone Troopers Grey & Styles!
• Can he turn his back on his Jedi training completely?
• The final chapter of the secret origin of Star Wars Rebels' Kanan Jarrus!
A superb conclusion to a fantastic story arc. This is what you give people who want to know what's the big deal about Star Wars. Magnificent and recommended. Read Full Review
Kanan: The Last Padawan #5 is just the conclusion I was hoping for with this first arc, and with the series about to drop its subtitle, this may very well be the last time we see the Jedi known as Caleb. Weisman's handled the characters well and Larraz has brought them to life in a wonderfully vivid and detailed way that simply delighted. This team definitely works well together and I can't wait to see what Jacopo Camagni brings to the table next time as Larraz gets a break. Read Full Review
While the arc as a whole experienced a rocky journey, Weisman is able to wrap it up in a more satisfying and cohesive fashion. Read Full Review
Kanan, The Last Padawan is perfectly standard franchise comics. It hits a lot of familiar territory and story beats without ever adding a new spin. It's a story that has been done many times before both in and outside of the Star Wars universe. While not terribly executed, it hardly provides a reason for its own existence. Kanan may entertain younger fans of Rebels, but it's unlikely to strike a spark with anyone who has read more than a few Star Wars stories. Read Full Review
Good closer to the arc that reads well as a single issue. Best issue of the series.
There are more Rebels tie ins and Caleb Dune finally dies. It looks like there is going to be a time shift between this issue and the next one as the rest of the Rebel crew is likely to be featured.
