This is a great opportunity to bring in some old, new, and obscure Superman villains some so obscure I'm not sure if they're originals or not. We've known that Krypton had a lot of prisoners, but it's rarely established what they're actually there for until now. Read Full Review
Action Comics #1080 starts wrapping up the "Phantoms" storyline, featuring plenty of action and some surprisingly emotional moments. However the story ends, this has been a great ride and future Superman writers should look to it for inspiration. Read Full Review

This is a fun issue overall. Seeing some "old school Bronze Age Phantom Zone villains is definitely a treat, but again the confrontations felt rushed and formulaic towards the end. With each story's cliffhanger, I can't wait to see how the finale plays out. Read Full Review
Why do I get the feeling that Tamaki had a story idea for a 'male/female character split in two that need to reconcile their duality' and just shoved Supergirl into the mix to get it printed?
