The potential avenues this story can take are very intriguing showing that some thoughtful changes to a character’s abilities can make for an engaging — if not permanent — exciting shake up to the status quo. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - Frank Jarome

The Flash #36 is an utter delight of a comic book, offering laughs, heart, and an interesting moral debate in equal measure. I wish it had been longer, so that I could have spent more time just soaking in the joy and fun that North and Guidry inject into every page. Things take a little bit of a more serious turn at the end, but all that does is leave me chomping at the bit to see where this story goes next. Read Full Review

Wally West takes his bold gamble to Metropolis but another hero is not on board with his actions. North takes a traditional approach to superhero team-ups with the script. Guidry and Lucas showcase the more light-hearted aspects of a friendly pairing with solid art. With every action, there is a great reaction. What that will be for this story remains to be seen. For me, the only interesting part of this issue was the discussion with Ollie. It's actually a good point about the extent of the Flash's powers. My problem is that this arc is dragging on too long. I don't know if this premise covers that many issues. I trust the creative team, so we'll see.Solid art again.
