Though the finale went exactly as most predicted, Young and Ramos manage to check most of the boxes they needed to before this title sailed off into the sunset. Read Full Review

The final bell has run as 'Strange Academy: Finals' #6 brings this truly magical series to a fitting conclusion full of great character beats, emotional and physical tolls, meticulously crafted plotlines, and an overall unique fun experience within the Marvel Universe. Throughout this whole run, the creative team has never once wavered delivering the same quality of awesomeness for 24 issues, a feat that should always be applauded. A series that will surely be one to return to for years to come, a classic in my book. Read Full Review

Strange Academy.... What a series I loved every issue of the first run them of the Finals. This book had me hooked throughout trying to figure out where it was heading. From wondering what would happen to the boy with the magic jacket that didn't have real magic and made a deal to get some. To a prophecy involving the son of Dormamu so he had to be a bad guy right.....right? This issues ties the main plot of the prophecy coming true up in a bow. There are sad parts to it not everything works out all the time and I'm glad this book didn't tend with everything being okay. They did leave it open to have another volume or run of this and I sure hope I see it happen. This book has been one of my favorites since I got into comics from the more

So I love this series, and as an ending this was almost perfect. It needed a few more pages though. Otherwise, 10/10. Kind of a big one - what happened to Emily? Is she dead??? Kinda wish that was a bit more clear

It's a rock-solid finale that brings the characters to rest with some real drama. The art goes out in a (literal and metaphorical) blaze of glory. Taken individually, this issue's plot and character developments are pretty familiar. They're combined in a way that's rational, compelling, and tension-building, though. As with the entire series (and its predecessor), strong engagement with the student characters is the magic glue that binds the parts of this story into something special. The creators clearly care about these kids and what happens to them, and they did a superb job convincing me to care as well.
