Nerd Initiative - Matthew Roth
Aug 12, 2026This issue sets us up for a big finale! I cannot get enough of how gorgeous the art style is within these pages, and the emotion is charged with Lorraine making a last desperate attempt to save Ronnie. If nothing else, the cover alone should sell you on this issue and tell you why you need to be picking this book up! Read Full Review

Aug 24, 2026There are some fantastic visuals here, but the moments where we focus on Ronnie and his memories of the past are among the most powerful. It’s hard to say what can be left of Firestorm after this story, but this has been a fascinating journey. Read Full Review

Aug 12, 2026All eyes are on Pittsburgh as Firehawk makes one last attempt to save Ronnie Raymond. Lemire keeps the thrills at a high level for this chapter. De Latorre & Maiolo wave strong art throughout the mass chaos. Expect that last page to generate some chatter at the LCS. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - Gabe Foster
Aug 18, 2026Stein in this book is in such a grey area. One minute he tells you openly about the horrible lies he's been a part of. Then being a helping hand the next. My expectations have been completely diverted, but in a good way. I genuinely have zero clue what's going to happen next in this series. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you aren't reading The Fury of Firestorm, the TPB is going to be something that sells a large number of copies (I hope). Read Full Review

I really enjoyed it until the very last page. I didn't want them to invest even more in Stein's characterization. I know it wasn't Lemire who started it, but insisting on it makes him even more irredeemable, if he isn't already. I loved the flashbacks, they bring a sense of nostalgia and lightness to a story that is otherwise dark. I want to see how it all concludes.

Higher energy in this one that till now, and there is a glimmer of hope that Ronnie will be okay.
