"Weird but enjoyable" is exactly what you'd hope for a Doom Patrol comic to be. Can't wait to read this!

This issue is all setup and not much story. I have a feeling this will work much better as a collected trade.

Love this creative team. This reminds me of Ascender and that’s a very good thing.

This is a difficult review as I've been reading Superman for longer than any other comic in existence. I seriously get annoyed at all the re-inventing of the same old carnage every year or so but I also understand, let's say we all as readers get jaded.
Today I read my hero and as much as I wanted to hate it....... something strange happened to this old man.
I fell in love with Superman

This was an astonishingly phenomenal read and easy to enjoy. The story is top notch, familiar yet different when it comes to its street level setting. It's just excellent on so many levels. I must say that the coloring really complements the pencils and inks as the intense colors help the art shine. This guest artist truly did some amazing work! Excelsior!!

A pretty strong start to this book. A lot of stuff here that I really enjoyed, and I do think it has the potential to be even better than this one issue was. The story's nothing all that complicated whatsoever, but Lemire & Nguyen make it work very well. Nguyen's artwork fits right in with the world we're introduced to here, and I thought Lemire established a really good tone for it. Very much loo more

Just stunning. My favorite book of the week. Beautiful retro artwork and an engaging script. I’ll be back for the full run.

The script is clunky and the artwork is not up to par with Ramos’ past work.

This issue reads so much better if you read #1-3 in one sitting. The fast pace gets broken up to much if you wait a while between issues. It also helps if you catch up on Zdarsky’s Cap run to learn about Coulton, a major player in this series. The artwork and writing are quite enjoyable.
