Made an account just for this series. 32 year old with depression. Been fighting it my whole life. I keep reading it, because it affects so many characters. Could be true, but isn’t PTSD reliving trauma through flashbacks? I don’t think that was shown in any issue. As a fan of the villains& I’m reading comics just because of them, I don’t think they need to be aspirational, but that’s only my opinion. I understand if people have other expectations than me.

The artwork unfortunately still looks like a kids tv show. Story seems very boring and with two issues in, I have no idea what is happening! The vocabulary of this is also dreadful with the Mars words

I remember the original from back in the day, it was OK, much like this is just OK. The concept is pretty decent but the execution has two major problems for me:
(1) It is covered in 90s-esque EXTREEEEME stank
(2) It reads like a treatment for film or television, this story, the way they are telling it, does not need to be in comics

"BROS BEFORE HEROES"

Probably my least favorite issue so far.
Nobody seems to grieve about the fact that a lot of heroes died and Harley Quinn is just too
sexualized (page 16, for example, was just not necessary) But overall the art was great as usual.

There's a sweet Stan Lee in memoriam page at the very end of this comic, naturally with his signature "Excelsior!". I have a better quote, though. One that could summarize what I think of Heroes in Crisis, and what Tom King should ask DC to do with it. Or him - doesn't make a difference to me.
