Justice League Dark on Gemworld! Having traveled to Gemworld by way of the second dimension, the Flash joins Justice League Dark and the princess of Gemworld, Amethyst, in a race against time to thwart Eclipso's evil plans.
Damn, but this is a great book. The Flash has always been one of my favourite titles, but now I can confidently claim it asthe favourite. Adams is not even a year in and already I would consider this one of the all-time classic comic runs. DC should be doing whatever they can to make sure he continues writing The Flash for as long as possible. Read Full Review
The Flash is a book with a creative team perfectly in sync telling fun and unique stories with great characters. Its not as easy a formula as it sounds, but thankfully DC has this title as one of its top tier reads every month. Read Full Review
Between the Flash and the current Nightwing series, DC seems to be quietly bringing back easier to access and just plain fun superhero comics. The Flash #777 continues this trend. While it continues the current storyline, it doesn't feel decompressed for a trade. You get plenty of story in this issue. Read Full Review
This continues to be one of the most pleasant surprises of the Infinite Frontier era. Read Full Review
The Scarlest Speedster's book remains good old-fashion superhero shenanigans and sometimes, that can be enough. Read Full Review
The story falters a bit this month, as Jeremy Adams tries to balance a bit too much and winds up with one subplot that feels oddly placed and another that feels underdeveloped. A rare misstep for thisFlash renaissance, but still definitely a comic worth putting on your pull list. Read Full Review
The Flash is done with gimmicks and is going after Eclipso with the Justice League Dark and this premise alone should be enough to get anyone excited but sadly the outcome isn't as cool as it should be and I was left rooting for the sections with Jai and Irey, which isn't a bad thing, but I would have liked to love everything here, not just one part. The art is great here and the overall concept of the story is great but the way it's delivered left me wanting more. Read Full Review
Action log: 12/30/2021
1- Jeremy Adams is the surprise of 2021, a new writter on a big title and delivered great stuff
2- Fernando Passarin fits really well on Flash
3- This book is awesome
Jai West is a treasure. The Action Log section of this issue kept me entertained all the way through. Pasarin's art is consistently great, working very well with Adam's script in conveying emotions and humor. The script is tight and engaging. Everything I could want from a Flash book.
Enjoyed the parts with the kids better than the main story
Fun read. The art is also very well done. The story clicks at a nice pace and the kids part of it with the action log was well presented and fun. Overall worth the time to read it for sure.
dope
Unfortunately, a downgrade from the previous issue.
