IDK. I admit I hate read some books and writers. In the age of internet everything is available so I do it just to come on here so I can bitch and moan. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. Like with Chris Cantwell or Leah Williams.
If you REALLY like a character or a certain writer and you see a certain title that's not up to the usual standards of said writer or the character not being handled the way you think they should be you come back in the hopes things turn around. It does happen.
