Williamson had some significant surprises lurking under the surface of this arc that makes the payoff all the more surprising. Superman #25 should be a really strong issue and the seeds of that big issue flourish here. Read Full Review
I say it a lot. I am a grizzled comic reader. When I am surprised I am happy. When I am surprised with what seems like a good story beat, I am very happy. So Event Leviathan, the Creeper, a heel turn by Mercy, and Eddy Barrows art? It all makes it a very entertaining issue. Read Full Review
Even amid all the flashy new launches, this is easily one of DC's best books at the moment. Read Full Review
All good deeds dont go unpunished. Williamson sets the bar high with secrets and reveals. The art team give a growing sense of untrust with their art. Everything this series has set up is about to explode next chapter. Prepare of impact with this chapter. Read Full Review
Superman #24 is a fantastic issue full of gripping action, shocking twists, and incredible art. This is an all-star creative team, and it feels like they are not holding back their talents at all with this arc. Read Full Review
Superman #24 is the perfect example of how to do a payoff, as Joshua Williamson starts bringing two years worth of work to a close. Read Full Review
Superman #24 starts off the new story arc strong in a lot of ways and ends strong too. Where at first the issue feels like itll be just another side adventure for Superman and his friends, it quickly becomes something more serious near the end. The art team really delivered in this comic as everyone and everything looks great and the action feels dynamic too. And the ending doesnt disappoint and sets things up for the next issue to be pretty big. Read Full Review
Superman #24 doesnt fall into the trap of feeling like an interlude issue after the explosive previous one. Lex continues taking baby steps toward his true return while someone else seems to have already taken his place with the question of whether Superman should share his alien technology, the bad and the good, for Earths benefit being explored. Superman #24 is a much better issue than last months, but it does ask you to suspend your disbelief quite a bit for the purposes of a classic comic-book-style reveal. Read Full Review
Joshua W. really gets Superman. I'm still not a fan of Lois being Superwoman. The panel where is flying in front of the other heroes, she looked exactly like Supergirl Beacause Lois is just a stand-in for Supergirl. I hope this storyline ends soon and Lois goes back to normal. Absolute Power was pretty much the worst thing that DC has done in years. As far as the rest of it. It was great. I love the heel turn for Mercy. I love Mercy and Lex together and her commenting that they needed to turn a profit. Superman's is like "Nah, Money grows on trees at my farm." The art is good as well.

believe me when I say/I say that I have been REALLY enjoying Joshua Williamson's run on Superman. It is just so entertaining and fun. I really do believe that when this run ends it's going to be a definitive modern classic
I think this issue is less polluted and rushed than the last ones (although I liked the Doomsday Time Trapper arc).
The progression with Mercy is cool, Lois and Clark are great as always, my only negative point is that I want Lex to go back to being 100% antagonistic to Superman again, but that will happen, just wait.
The art is very good, anyway, looking forward to #25.
So great to see the culmination of several years’ worth of story threads all rolling up to an explosive end game! I’m glad the other shoe finally dropped with Mercy and SuperCorps. Next issue should be epic!
