This third issue builds beautifully on the characters and themes that have been established in previous issues. I quite enjoyed the dialogue that takes place between Dameron and his team as well as the surprise reveal of one of their allies. The issue ends on a fantastic cliffhanger. Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku - Insurgency Rising #3 finds it's rhythm as the established story threads begin to take shape in the post-Return Of The Jedi universe as characters begin to be developed and new challenges for the Rebels present themselves.
