This is close to the darker vibe of Absolute Batman. As such, it's now my second favourite in the Absolute line. All of which, are superb.

DC outshines Marvel every step of the way! This is right now one of the best drawn and written books in the DC Universe! Solid storytelling, dealing with some real world issues. Picheshote storytelling is solid and runs at such an amazing pace...have been really enjoying and understanding this storyline, something not all writers achieve. This writer has a sense of storytelling I am digging. And the art is solid, clear detailed images with a sense of style! Albuquerque is shining here. This should be at the top of everybody's pull list don't miss out!

This series feels similar to Absolute Batman in terms of tone, yet it stands on its own and still feels like a Green Arrow story, even though Oliver Queen isn't in it. Rafael alberque's art and coloring really make this issue stand out.

I gotta admit, it took some time to get through. A lot of takes, names flashing around like you should know them by hard at this point... Lot's of thoughts, kinda bugging me but I get the vibe, the setup, the gore,... but let the edging be over en get to something big please... maybe some actual green arrow story XD C'mon
All that said, this still is a top of the bill series.
Is it as good as some other Absolute series, not now, but lets give it some time to grow and really judge after the second arc.
