This is one of the few recent Batman books to truly capture a horror vibe, one that leaves us doubting the characters' very perceptions. It's a great mystery anchoring a book with lots of personal turmoil. Read Full Review
Batman and Robin #19 is an adrenaline fueled thrill, injected with some emotional damage. FUN! Read Full Review
Batman and Robin 19 is another strong entry in the Memento arc that thankfully has plenty of steam left. Read Full Review
I continue to appreciate Phillip Kennedy Johnson's approach to The Dynamic Duo. The depth and darkness of Batman and Robin's relationship mirrors the narrative itself. Memento himself is disturbing and both of the superheroes' vulnerability is on full display as the arc races towards its climax. Read Full Review

Though I think this storyline is starting to drag and I don't understand the villain at all, there are some really good Damien moments in this run. I would really like Johnson to develop the villain a bit more so we can learn the stakes. I don't even know what he's after.

This story continues to thrill even as we hit the 6 month mark! A mix of great character work and a scary new villain keeps the momentum going. This team hit the ground running when they took over the book last fall.
One of the better issues in this story, if not the best.
