I wasn't expecting this couple to work as well as it does, but the main story by Williams and Guara sold me and I like the little nod to how different Jon is as a hero from his father. Read Full Review

Arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day, Superman: Chains of Love is the perfect gift for that special someone in your life. Whether that someone happens to be a friend, a family member, a partner, or even yourself, it’s a gift worth giving—and certainly one worth getting. Packed with plenty of heart and even more humor, Chains of Love is a near-perfect momentary distraction from the heavy stakes and severity of DC’s mainline universe and the Absolute imprint. I have a feeling I'm not alone in never giving much thought to Livewire and Creeper being oddly perfect for each other. That being said, now that they are an item, I definitely want more. "Bill Zarro's World acts as a great prologue to the upcoming Kevin Smith 'Bizarro: Year None' mini-series and the entertainment quality of both installments turns this from a typical aside issue to one you'll want to read for yourself. I generally avoid Leah Williams writing at all costs, but as a Livewire and Dan Slott fan I gave this a chance. The main story surprisingly wasn't that bad for a goofy comic but I felt Livewire was a little neutered and should have more bite to her character. The back up was pretty fun and had the tone of a "poor dad" style comic strip.
