Overall. This is a really fun issue that offered up a few laughs as well as some nice action beats. Read Full Review
After dealing with trying to juggle far too many plotlines with its last issue, Excalibur gets back on track thanks to the help of the caped and metal armored fan-favorite character out of Latveria. Month after month the art team nails it and deserves far more recognition for the truly amazing worlds and images they are crafting. Read Full Review
Excalibur #23 kicks off another adventure for the Excalibur team as they venture back into Otherworld with Dr. Doom. The star of this comic is Dr. Doom, his reactions to Otherworld and his interactions with Captain Britain steal the show every time. The story with Doom does feel concluded by the end, meanwhile the comic builds up some mystery and intrigue to prepare the book for a new Arthurian storyline. Read Full Review
This wonderful creative team continues to complete my needs for a DnD like story. It was very fun to see Doom in this issue. I enjoyed his interactions with Betsy. I'm happy to see Meggan continuing to become a part of the team. Read Full Review
Overall, this book is an adequate installment to the series. It has some fun exciting moments, but it does feel a bit drawn out. A new story plot is set up in this issue, but as of now nothing else of importance seems to have happened. Unless what Doom was looking for has implications on the mutants and on Otherworld in the future. Read Full Review
What's on the page rarely lives up to its own promise, but the promise remains incredibly enticing given the sprawling stakes and rich elements of lore ranging from Arthurian tales to modern, reality-bending sci-fi tales. It's hard to look away even when much of the execution comes up short. Read Full Review
This book was fantastic!! I loved the story! I was completely invested in what was taking place from the first page. I absolutely love a story that takes some time to read and has a lot of depth and this had both. The artwork for Excalibur has been consistently great and this issue continues that. This book is worth every penny which is very common for Excalibur however this may have been my favorite issue of the series so far!
I'm not the biggest fan of Doom but despite my reservations Tini once again brings us another entertaining chapter in her ongoing Epic Fantasy Mutant Saga. I'm so glad she has managed to turn this title around into one of the X-books I consistently enjoy reading from month to month.
This could have been paced better. I also think this title is very directionless lately, and this didn't help.
This was so slow, I lift a little at the end
Excalibur faffs around trying to be cute as they follow Doctor Doom to the Crooked Market, sweeping up the breadcrumbs of plot development he leaves in his wake. I actually like this rendition of Doom, albeit more for his actions than his dialogue. The art's nice, but the script is bumpy. The closer I look at this issue, the more passive and aimless the protagonists appear, and I think that's a problem.
The last page was the most interesting part of the entire issue.
Todo mês o Doom sendo muito mal escrito em um gibi diferente.
First thing I noticed is how writer have a Roma chaarcter being acussed of stoling a kid.
Doctor Doom is really badly written here
Not interesting. Not good.
