RATED T+
This issue was part 2 of a short filler arc before we get to something bigger in New York. That doesn't mean that it's bad though. Charlie goes through a process here and it causes a rift between her and Hulk. That conflict will drive the next chapter for sure. I loved every panel of this comic though. Beautiful colors make this thing feel so 3 dimensional with Kleins drawings. Letters provide distinct animalistic voices and big time destructive sound effects! Then we're left with a little teaser at the end involving one of Hulks greatest rivals! What do you think will happen to Hulk and Charlie in New York?! Read Full Review
Incredible Hulk #23 concludes this misadventure as Hulk confronts the skin-stealing monster Norgul. First off, the art from Nic Klein with Matthew Wilsons colors continue to shine with the action and characters like Hulk. The plot wasnt that great nor was it terrible. It was a solid side story that laid out the potential for Charlies downward spiral as a monster. However, the setup at the end hints that something big might be on the horizon for Hulk in the upcoming issues. Read Full Review
Another effective monster story with neat body horror.
A complete disgrace when it comes to the monthly tedium of issue after issue. It didn't even deserve a grade of 1, but rather zero!
