    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

This showdown has been in the works for twenty years, and despite the horrible crimes the Lion has committed, Batman can’t help but look at him and see the same broken kid he saw in the house all those years ago. Very excited to see where Taylor takes this next. Read Full Review

Personalized recommendation: If you have collected the previous 5 issues (#1101-#1105) of this story arc, then Detective Comics #1106 is a natural capstone to that collection. However, if you’ve not yet picked up any of the six issues or only have a few of them, I would recommend reading the entire story before committing to a full collection. Read Full Review

I would recommend this story for any Batman fans, because the story is new, it’s fresh and it’ll help anyone hop into Detective Comics in the future. Also, the artwork from Janin, in most issues he’s drawn, inked and coloured the whole book, and that adds a fantastic noir vibe to the whole story. I give this issue an 8/10, but the whole story arc deserves a 9.5/10. Read Full Review

Despite the antagonist, ‘Detective Comics’ #1106 doesn’t really close out the current story arc not with a roar but a more mellow medium meow. Exceptional visuals with a story that leaves much to desire while delivering a little bit. Read Full Review
