The story can move forward in incredibly dramatic ways with a joyful time travel romp that uses all of the runs loose threads, hinting that they will all be wrapped up soon. Read Full Review

That could be why everyone dove into Flash #798 head-first. The expedited nature of this issue just made the story seem like it was being told directly to you instead of gradually uncovered through character interactions and discovery. Dont get me wrong, I think there is certainly potential to be had in this story. However, the Flash #798 could have easily been separated into two, if not three issues and paced more effectively. A good setup for what seems like it’s going to be a fun arc for Adams to end on! The plot with how Hourman shows up is a bit confusing, but I reckon it’ll be more fleshed out later. I don’t really know why Wally doesn’t seem to remember the events of DC One Million with Hourman and the Warlogog, though. Is that stuff even still canon? I can’t keep up!
Hourman is back! I wonder how this connects to his appearances in Johns' Stargirl: Lost Children mini? I loved the explanation for his return and the reference to him taking the place of Rick Tyler and fighting Extant during Zero Hour back in JSA #66.
Fernando Pasarin is one of the best in the business right now,and Will Robson did a great job too!
The team Jeremy Adams has assembled is so freaking great: both Wallys, the Terrifics, Hourman Android and Gold Beetle! And then on top of it we get the return of OMEGA-BAM-MAN!
Screw Batman #900, buy this instead!
Really enjoyable issue. Nice start to new arc with lots of characters that never slows down.
Jeremy Adama' run on Flash ending with a family-based arc only feels appropriate. This was a pretty good set-up issue that brings together an interesting team for this story. I'm specifically glad to see Plastic Man and Metamorpho getting used here. Plus, I'm becoming more and more of a fan of Gold Beetle here, and I hope that doesn't change with the next two issues. I'm looking forward to seeing where this all goes.
