After an accident pushes Wally West into the time stream, the former Kid Flash lands in the body of his onetime partner, Impulse. Now sprinting through the 30th century side by side with the mysterious (and, yeah, ridiculous) Gold Beetle, Wally must uncover what’s causing the destructive explosions that keep propelling him through time and the bodies of other speedsters.
It's inevitable that any new writer on The Flash is going to suffer comparison to greats like Mark Waid or Joshua Williamson. The Flash #769 shows that Jeremy Adams could potentially meet the high standard set by previous writers of The Flash. Read Full Review
Im still unsure how long Adams can keep this setup going, but so far The Flash has been a very unexpected and welcome Infinite Frontier spin on the Scarlet Speedsters. With the tease of the next speedster jump, Im hoping Adams and company spend a lengthy time in this upcoming time period. Read Full Review
Flash #769 doesn't move the plot of "Blink of an Eye" forward much, but is a ridiculous amount of fun. The entire creative team is firing on all cylinders, making this a standout #DCInfiniteFrontier title! Read Full Review
Adams is helping Wally West fans forget about HEROES IN CRISIS while ushering in a new status quo for the FLASH family that's been missing for quite some time. FLASH #769 is fast, fun, friendly, and full of energy. Lafuente, Peterson, Atiyeh, and Guerrero make this issue bright, vibrant, and powerful. New readers will find these first two installments easy to hop in on while old fans will feel rejuvenated, refreshed, and ready for something finally uplifting for the FLASH family. Read Full Review
A really attractive comic with a great story hook and really fun character interactions and dialogue. The Green Arrow/Flash/Mr. Terrific team may be my new favorite trio, and Gold Beetle is a scream. Well worth the price! Read Full Review
This storyline marks for a fresh take on the world of Central City, past, present, and future, and is a well-rounded take on DC's most famous speedster. Read Full Review
Overall, it's a fun comic but I'm still not sure it's fully working as a Flash comic"especially since I'm not sure who our lead actually is. Read Full Review
Lafuente and Peterson do a great job with the look and feel of this story. It was a great contrast between the Wally story and the Barry one. Read Full Review
Despite some lackluster art, "The Flash" #769 continues to establish this new status quo as one of the most fun books of 'Infinite Frontier.' Read Full Review
Wally's pulling a Quantum Leap through time and doing some Speed Force nonsense to save the day. It's funny and looks great and I found myself really enjoying a Gold Beetle and Wally West team up but going forward I'm going to need some more substance to this story than just a random time period in each issue where something Speed Force related needs to happen. Great issue. A lot of fun.
This was an improvement from the last issue, I had tonsssss of fun, really excited for more adventures.
Considering the disappointing direction DC's two main heroes' books are going, I felt reading about another hero would be a nice change of pace, and as usual the Flash is one of the best. This is an interesting jumping on point, but seems fun too. Constant "Bold new directions" aren't usually the Flash's thing, so I'm sure I can count on this to be a good story. I need to get the first chapter to catch up, but this was a good, easy to pick up on issue.
Gold Beetle needs to remember to take her meds. She's a bit on the hyper and a lot on the annoying side. I also enjoyed Mr. Terrific, Barry and Green Arrow's time in the Flash museum. The last page shows that the next issue will be an exciting one too. Can't wait to see the return of the more
Weirdly enough I think I like this issue more than the last but it was over a little too quickly. The humor was better placed but I had a hard time really caring about Wally in the future. None of the danger felt immediate whereas with the Speed-Raptor there was weirdly tension. His interactions with Gold Beetle were amazing though.
A fun issue
Yo, a flash book, that's fun and keeps the light hearted silver age sci-fi adventure tone associated with the characters, while also embracing the relationship between Barry and Wally.
Although it is nothing groundbreaking in the larger scale of things, when was the last time the Flash was like this?
Great character building and dialogue from the series.
This has actually been one of the weaker ongoing DC titles for me. Ive just found it a bit dull and the dialogue quite cheesy.
" Say Flash !"

It was fine, not really sure how much I've enjoying this one so far. There's some fun action happening, and I've liked the dynamic between The Flash and Gold Beetle, but the story was quite forgettable.
I'll be honest, I found Gold Beetle annoying.
I like how this expands on the speed force and it's nice to see Booster and Beetle have a legacy in the future. However this issue was a little bit boring. When the heroes are in the future, the art is good. On the other hand, it's a little ugly when they are in the present.
Bad issue. Bad story, bad art. I've finally dropped Flash from my monthly reading list after this one.
I like Gold Beetle in principle but her River Song vibes are so strong and so annoying.
This is really boring aaaand that's about it.
