What makes you say that
• On the other side of King's Ransom, Spider-Man is left to pick up the pieces.
• If he can manage to put them together he is going to be horrified with what he finds!

I wanted to like this series, I really did. Yet, 2 issues in and they have derailed the whole concept. Save your money.
After the shocking events of Robin #1, Damian has learned the deadly rules of Lazarus Island the hard way! Now he must prove that he belongs in the tournament and uncover its secrets! But his only ally is the daughter of one of his greatest enemies: Ravager! In this tournament, only one fighter can get out alive-ready for round two? Fight!
Well for starters they have taken Damian Wayne and made him mentally imbalanced talking to Alfred Pennyworth. Now, if he was Jean Paul Valley I'd believe it but this is the son of Batman we are talking about. Then there mentioning of him being a fan of Manga which is just distasteful. They have also dumbed him down to the point of being almost stupid, ignoring the training that Batman would have given him. In short the series is someone else's take on the character not Kubert's or Morrison's
You do realize that Damian is talking to Alfred since he saw Alfred die IN FRONT OF him. Second, you do also realize that Damian Wayne is a KID. If this was Nightwing reading manga then sure I can see your point but Damian is a 12 year old, its okay for kids to read Manga. I think you have a problem with the character, and not the concept.
