I really enjoyed this issue and the way Kelly Thompson handled the initial dialogue between Wonder Woman and Batman. It felt very intentional, with a straight, businesslike economy to the exchanges, and when reading Wonder Woman's dialogue in particular it came across as clipped and to the point in my head. I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes in future issues and how further crossovers in the Absolute Universe will play out. Read Full Review
Absolute Wonder Woman #15 isn't just a testament to Kelly Thompson's phenomenal writing or Hayden Sherman's jaw-dropping artwork, but to the Absolute line as a whole. Each individual series has had time to breathe and establish itself, and these iterations of characters before bringing them together. Read Full Review
Absolute Wonder Woman #15 is a phenomenal first time superhero team-up comic book. Kelly Thompson nails the instant chemistry Absolute Batman and Wonder Woman have with one another. That opens the door for a strong story that mixes the strengths of both characters, magic and detective work. Absolute Wonder Woman #15 does everything a team-up issue should. It introduces new readers to both heroes and further builds upon their shared universe. Two of the Absolute Trinity meet with high expectations. The result is fresh stance on a seasoned friendship. Thompson's writing carries a more grounded look at two characters destined to become friends. Sherman and Bellaire craft amazing imagery to set this story apart from past incarnations. This starts a journey fans can simply call "absolutely necessary. Read Full Review
Absolute Wonder Woman was the first hero to make a public stand, protecting Gateway City from the potentially world-ending rampage of the Tetracide. Absolute Batman has similarly made a name for himself to the people of Gotham as one of the only crusaders against the corruption and exploitation killing his city. Bruce and Dianas actions have put huge targets on their back and the powers that be are doing everything they can to eliminate them. But Absolute Wonder Woman and Batmans first team-up is a shining example of why hope is possible, even in a seemingly hopeless world. Read Full Review

Absolute Wonder Woman #15 is a shaky crossover with some phenomenal creative work. Read Full Review
Absolute Wonder Woman #15 is a comic that works technically but fails to justify its existence emotionally or narratively. You're paying four dollars to watch two of DC's most compelling characters stand in a swamp and explain magic theory to each other for half the issue. The closing act and final pages do the heavy lifting to keep this from being a total loss, and the concept of a Diana and Batman team-up still has real potential, but this particular execution doesn't earn the space it occupies on the shelf. These Absolute trinity titles just can't miss. Loved this issue, great first interaction between the two alternate icons. Everything was absolute peak - the writing, story, art, everything was just fantastic.
For how rough and cold the Absolute Universe is, this is such a cute and gentle meeting between two goliaths of justice. I could not have asked for a more uplifting story, of a duo with great chemistry.
Instead of an overly tense or dramatic headbutt between the two, Thompson and Sherman focus on what would bring Batman and Wonder Woman together. They have an immediate trust and kinship, towards a common goal to make the world a better place.
Here's to many more Absolute team ups!
Great crossover loved the first interaction between the two can't wait for the next issue
10 because Absolute Batman.
Exquisite first meeting between 2 absolute titans of justice, pulled off with sensational writing and gorgeous artwork. It was pure joy being able to watch these two get to know each other and work together to solve a case with ominous underpinnings behind the scenes. Just a minor quibble or two: the art was very dark and difficult to see what was going on in some panels (at least in the print version), and Batman was a little too verbose at times compared to his own book.Diana’s dialogue was simply perfect and a testament to why I absolutely adore her.
Introduction for the two characters was very well done.
This is another knockout issue for Kelly Thompson's run. Hayden Sherman has slowly been my top 3 favorite artists of 2020s. I love the coloring, and I love Kelly Thompson's writing for Batman. I am interested to see how Scott Snyder will write Absolute Wonder Woman
