SERIES FINALE
"A FOND FAREWELL," Part Seven
An era comes to an end. A step further into a strange and unrecognizable future, a final goodbye, and a fond farewell.
Structurally, the longest series of Remender's career ends in a bit of a flash. Still, there's enough room for tension, enough time to remind us all of how much we despise Brandy Lynn and Shabnam. Read Full Review
Deadly Class #56 sticks the landing with an issue that is cathartic and emotional. Remender, Craig, Loughridge, and Wooton have done a remarkable job with this final storyline, and this ending is the best way imaginable to end this book. Read Full Review
It's virtually impossible to give a series like Deadly Class a perfect ending, so instead of trying, the team zeroes in on a couple of key ideas, making sure to craft a great issue of comics even if it doesn't seem especially concerned with being all things to all people. Read Full Review
Flawless ending to a classic series.
It's a shame comics like these don't get more attention. This series taught me so much about myself. Remender is one of the greats and maybe the best at saying what I'm thinking. I'm glad they didn't make this a shoot-out and focused on what made the story great, the original crew. Can't wait to pick up the giant hardcover. Thanks Remender
a solid ending to a great series. one of the best image comics series out there. Gonna miss Saya, Marcus, Maria, Willie, Petra, Lin, Brandy, Schanub, Stefan, and so many others. The only problem is the story has off-screen story development.
