Spine-tingling Spider-Man #1 is a terrifying start. The isolation amplifies the character’s voice, especially when so much of what fills his supporting cast and identity is stripped away. The plot is impossible to predict because of how quickly it can divert and erupt into chaos. Read Full Review

Spine-Tingling Spider-Man is a good first issue, but it reads like you should wait a bit for at least another issue to come out. That said, it brings horror visuals that'll certainly scare kids and adults alike while thrusting Peter into a nightmare you'll want to figure out. While I enjoyed the first few panels, the rest of the comic isn't my cup of tea. From that point on the comic devolves into a frightened Peter running for his life searching for answers after getting a mysterious text only leading him into more trouble. Read Full Review

On the cover it says the scariest Marvel comic book ever, when I read this I said to myself yeah whatever….it might actually be right. First thing that hits you as you start to read the issue is the artwork. Those opening pages are really stunning, some of the best Spider-Man images I have seen in a long time. The colours are so bright and vibrant, they are really striking. more
