Overall, X-Men #33 is worth reading and it is part of the main story so its a must-read to understand whats going on. Its leading into something bigger and badder but the cliffhanger that it left on can only be another obstacle for the X-Men. Wheres Magneto when you need him? Anyway, be sure to pick this comic book up at your local comic shop or purchase this comic book online where copies are sold. Dont miss this one! Read Full Review

X-Men #33 does a great job acting as a director's cut to the events seen in Fall of the House of X #3. Between Wolverine and Shadowcat being showcased as badasses to the X-Men taking down the founder of Orchis, this issue accomplishes a lot to further the current crossover. It all leads to making the next phase of Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X feel like we are at the endgame now. Read Full Review

The series is winding down, and Duggans trying to tie up his loose ends. Its a step in the right direction, and has been the most enjoyable since Kittys transformation into Shadowkat. Hopefully the team keeps on this trend, as the series winds down to Uncannys 700th issue. Read Full Review

X-Men #33 is all fun and games until you remember that this is the third to last issue of the series. Using fond memories of Marauders to cover for the title's Fall of X to-do list is only somewhat effective. That being said, the board is clear for the X-Men's showdown at Sentinel City. Who knows what excitement awaits when Nimrod's Death Star comes online. Read Full Review

Kate Pryde's edgy badass dialogue reads like a parody and Sentinel City sounds very dumb. Otherwise, this is fine with the same strengths and weaknesses as the last few issues.

It feels like there's a lot packed in this one. Maybe it's because Duggan is tasked with covering what a lot of different mutants are doing, but that doesn't change the fact that this feels a bit dense. Everything was good and entertaining, but I just wish there was a little more room to breathe. Cassara's art was really good though, as per usual.

Things happen and are summarized by Duggan. Joshua Cassara is the guy that makes this book worth reading and enjoying. The art is worth it and props to Fajardo on colors but the story has gotten stale a while ago. Just get me to the end so I don't have to read another X book for another decade unless Gillen/Ewing/Hickman come back.

    SPOILED REVIEW.

Unclear who is winning in the war between Orchis and mutants, Sebastian Shaw plans to be ready, standing shoulder to shoulder with whoever is the victor. Every possibility has been accounted for, even the asymmetrical. Whatever that might mean, it has been planned for. They don’t just call him Seb-“Man with the Plan”-Stian because he’s so well dressed by the ladies.

The only apparent problem, securing Madripoor deeds doesn’t much help with squatters. Not to be out-planned by his dad, Shinobi Shaw, along with his trusty louts set out to clear the riffraff from the lands so a stronghold could be built.

The “louts”, otherwise known as Reavers arrive and politely ask squat-leader C more

To me this felt very rushed and by-the-numbers. It feels like Duggan is just phoning it in now with how he's closing off his plot points. Also, the X-Men now seem very bloodthirsty. I know they decided that extreme measures were necessary (which I think is out of character), but they just went from "No Killing" to "Kill everything you see even if you don't have to". They don't even show any remorse or difficulty in doing so.

I feel bad for Kieron Gillen. His side of the Fall of X seems to be well written and well thought out. Unfortunately, it has to be paired with this.

Reads like an outline of a story no one asked to hear, with cool action moments taped on. The characters don't really feel like they have agendas; they're just being dragged along by the plot.
