Conan The Barbarian (2019): King-Size Conan #1

Dec 28, 2020

That being said, I truly appreciated the amount of time and craftsmanship that went into creating King-Size Conan #1. It was a pleasure to sit down and read from cover to cover. If you or someone who you know want to explore the world of Conan, pick this up.

Fantastic Four (2018): Road Trip #1

Dec 9, 2020

Fantastic Four: Road Trip #1 is a comicbook you should pick up. Christopher Cantwell does a great job maintaining an atmosphere of uncertainty. While the storyline kept me hooked from page to page, the visuals of the characters going through the ordeal gave me chills as I was reading. Filipe Andrades specific art style captures a sense of urgency and despair. Moreover, Chris OHalloran and VC's Joe Caramagna both did fantastic work with coloring and lettering, respectively. If youre into reads like Invincible and The Walking Dead, just imagine those two worlds colliding in this stellar issue.

Marvel Zombies: Resurrection #1

Sep 4, 2020

With Rachelle Rosenberg and Leonard Kirks art styles blended together, the idea of hope almost seems lost and bleak. The line work of characters and coloristic vision that it took to create a world on the brink of annihilation from an unknown virus is superb. This beauty of how the comicbook came to be reels me in.Marvel Zombies: Resurrection #1 is not something you want to miss. Trust me, its going to take us for a ride we wont see coming. I recommend you pick it up or order it while you have a chance. You dont want to hunger for it when its gone.

Rogue & Gambit (2023) #1

Mar 6, 2023

Overall, Rogue and Gambit #1 is a joyful read and it doesnt develop a fault with overlapping continuity X-Men, X-Factor, Avengers, or S.W.O.R.D. issues. Its a straightforward story with action, humor, and glamor mixed all together into one chain of events. If anyone is searching for a break from the mainstream line of mutants, be sure to check out this one at your local comic book store or online.
