Sep 27, 2023As Jean Grey once said, "I'm the only 'me' that ever was." Jean Grey #2 reminds audiences why she's the best she is at what Phoenix does. Simonson, Chang, and Maiolo knock it out of the park again, and if they continue to do so, this series is set to be essential reading for any fan of Jean Grey or the X-Men. Read Full Review

Sep 30, 2023The first issue of Jean Grey was more about establishing the general direction of this mini-series. Now with Jean Grey #2 Louise Simonson and Bernard Chang were able to go all in with tapping into the potential of the series' foundation. In the process Simonson and Chang are able to take the "What If? concept to give greater insight into Jean Grey's character as her role in Fall of X develops. Read Full Review

Oct 15, 2023Jean Grey #2 calls back to an earlier point in Jeans life that defined her. The only twist is that through her constant search to find where she went wrong, she ends up changing a small detail of action or exchange of emotions that creates an alternate reality where outcomes arent meant to happen. As Jeans persistence grows, its only a matter of time before Jean discovers exactly where it all could have been better. Dont miss out on this one. You can purchase this issue at your local comic book store or online where copies are sold. Read Full Review

Eu amei a forma que a Louise retrata que jean só amar somente o scott e não o logan, a forma que jean desmotrar ter empatia por logan separar de romance por empatia

A vey well written "what if", almost perfect. The bad thing? That it is a "what if" but oh well let's see where this setup leads to.

I really liked this! Better than the first issue in my opinion. Loved the exploration of Logan and Scott. Art was gorgeous too.

Love what's happening! No idea where it's going, I hope it pays off! Alt timelines being explored ala Moira... but to what end? Hope it's not just because it's cool...

It's a good story, told with good words and nigh-great art. I appreciate the double fakeout cover: "Oh, it ISN'T going to be this, except, oh dang, it IS!" I feel like this is a contrast to issue #1. Where the story for that issue felt a little too small for the pages allotted, this one feels a little too big. The climax would hit harder with just a few more pages to breathe. It's still a very good read, though. And I continue to appreciate the way this series folds "What If...?" content into real continuity.

I'm disappointed that Jean's story was hijacked by yet another Wolverine story

Disappointed this is another 'What If' story. I want a real adult Jean Grey solo in present time, not flashbacks and what ifs. However, the actual writing is good.
