Realm of X #2 is a good issue if you're invested in these characters and like fantasy, but it feels a bit stale as it limps along the main plot. As a fan of fantasy and loving the location visuals and setting I want Realm of X to soar, but this second issue leaves you wanting. Read Full Review
I am thoroughly enjoying this book! I love the characters, the plot so far, the artwork, and finally the writing is fantastic. I am so fascinated with this story I can't wait for the next chapter and really really wish this wasn't a mini series. I am becoming a really big fan of torunn grønbekk as it seems everything I read from her is fantastic
This is issue was a bit scattered with not much happening. Curse seems to be happy with the White Witch and she is part of a prophecy. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is still searching for her. Not sure where this is heading, but Mary is still my favorite character of the bunch. Not sure why there isn't at least one male in the group.

This was another solid issue for this series. Although I didn't quite enjoy it as much as the previous, I still thought it was good. As Derby pointed out in their review, the time jump we get almost makes me feel as though we were missing something when reading this issue. However, I continued to enjoy Typhoid Mary here, as well as the stuff with Curse and Saturnyne. While the overall story of this isn't the most intriguing, the best part of this is the characters, as I think they're fairly well-written.
We get a time jump from the first issue and it really feels like we’re missing some pivotal bits of information that could better support characters’ actions and behaviors. This issue gives Saturnyne more of a spotlight but we have no real clue what she wants with Curse. The core group feels completely disjointed and incapable of working together. Magik is a shell of herself and is always drawn with a weird shadow around her eyes which is distracting. Torunn Grønbekk has really missed an opportunity to better utilize underrated characters. In addition to the weird shadows used on Magik’s face, Diogenes Neves also has an “interesting” approach to character designs to say the least and even the action sequences come across half-bakmore
