Henry Bendix has threatened and manipulated and killed without consequence. Now, after a shocking coordinated attack on Earth's heroes, it's time for Superman, Jay, and the Revolutionaries to strike back. But first, Jay Nakamura must embrace his powers and become the hero Jon knows he can be.
Superman: Son of Kal-El #14 is an excellently plotted, fast-paced comic with many great character moments. So often these days comics stretch out their story, but Taylor and Tormey prove Superman: Son of Kal-El is addictive page-turning storytelling. Read Full Review
This was a fun, fraught, beautifully rendered story peppered with memorable characters and fueled by a high-octane plot. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Read Full Review
This entire series has been top-notch, but it feels like we're finally reaching the conclusion of this big arc. We've got a great villain, great supporting cast, and a truly evil villain, making this the perfect second half of this Superman renaissance we're in right now. Read Full Review

"Superman: Son of Kal-El" #14 utilizes nearly every plot point of the series to head into a thrilling battle. Read Full Review
There is a lot of good stuff going on in Superman: Son of Kal-El #14 and it should be no surprise because it all builds upon story elements that Tom Taylor has been laying from the start. Read Full Review
The final battle against Bendix has begun. It's just too bad that it's going to have to wait again and all the exciting parts of this book were relegated to the end of the issue. The art continues to be great and there are some sweet moments between our hero and his friends and I just hope that with the over a year build-up of The Rising that it just doesn't fizzle out to simply get us an ending so we can move on to something new. This book just doesn't seem to be working for me. Read Full Review
OMG 🤩🤩 i love
Good issue, not perfect, the slow pacing of modern comics gets old, but a good read , no ten til Jon is
The book is getting back on track. An important character is finally getting development and the stakes have sky-rocketed!
Meh, a little bit boring. It's not bad, there are some good details and panels, but Taylor spent the issue in talking and talking to explain all the things, and the inconsistence in the art is bad too.
Bad Robin characterization. And sneaking onto a submarine? Plus, a flight ring? And learning use it without any training? Yes, the whole concept of superheroes is silly, but there has to be SOME logic. Also, plot just not interesting.
Overall pretty disappointing.
Just not interesting to me.
Still disappointed with Bendix as a villain and frankly imo the arc with him has dragged long enough. Not a fan of the art either. I think thks book's art was a lot better when the old artist was on it.
All course, Taylor. Let's make a joke about marrying a couple who know each other like... three weeks?
I don't know which is worse the art work or the horrible story. "The Revolutionaries" on page 6 made me break out into laughter they are that bad of a concept team. Just Taylor just throwing whatever he can out there hoping something sticks so he can collect a creator credit I guess. The plot points of convivence are what really gets me though, Lois Lane just acts out of character and reports on this social media outlet "The Truth" instead of the Daily Planet because...Reasons? Also, the workers just shutting down the "Storm Shield" because Jay asks them to? Yeah they live in a horrible place ruled with an iron fist apparently but they just causally endanger themselves and their families on a whim because a stranger shows up in a costumore
Picked up this weeks issue cause my buddy said the book has gotten better…nope still trash. Waste of $4. I wonder what DC’s plans for Jon are after Dark Crisis and War World. Hopefully Dark Crisis retcons his age up, and returns him to a kid. DCeased and Injustice remains Taylor’s best work.
