Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #12 sticks the landing on this final issue, in an era of final issues, and shows finishing on less than great endings. The issue is jam packed with action and heart just like this entire run has been built on. At the same time this book was a fitting end to the Aaron/Ferreyra run, it also serves as a great leaping off point for the next era, with in my opinion the biggest surprise final page of the year. Jason Aaron and Juan Ferreyra held nothing back with how they ended their creative run with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #12. The action was kick ass with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo showing the strength of fighting as a family. Good issue and I've enjoyed Aaron's run but it's disappointing that all he basically did was create inner family turmoil (that lasted far too long in my opinion) to just fix things back to where they were and leave.
