With the Ninja Turtles on trial for a murder they didn't commit, Casey Jones fighting for his life in a devastating coma, and the city overrun by Foot Patrol thugs, New York has but one hope to turn the tide: April O'Neil?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #11 is a phenomenal penultimate chapter to Jason Aaron and Juan Ferreyra's run on this series. There is so many great payoff moments throughout this issue that increase the investment in this new direction for the franchise. April O'Neil and Karai's presence in this issue particularly elevate what has happened with each action they take. I can't wait to see how Aaron and Ferreyra plan to wrap up this story and set-up the future for the franchise. Read Full Review
This book tackles a lot of different issues and takes the reader on a hell of a ride. Jason Aaron does an awesome job of taking the reader on a rollercoaster ride, well at the same time keeping everything on track and not confusing the reader. Aaron brings the action, the drama, and most importantly the intrigue of what is to come. The arc of Hale in this issue is a masterful piece of work and really gives him exactly what he deserves. Another fantastic issue. This run has been great, and while the resolution of the case was a bit convenient, it was still excellently executed. Juan Ferreyra is my favorite active interior artist, each page looks like cover art or something. He's so good. Loved it.
It can't get better than this. If there was an 11 I would rate it an 11.
Fantastic issue. The story finally has some solid progression and there's plenty of fun moments with some good action. Ferreyra's art can feel static at times and I don't love his Bebop or Rocksteady but his design for the turtles is just amazing.
