Overall, X-Men #10 is a must-read for any X-Men fan. It's a thrilling and emotionally resonant issue that showcases the team's resilience in the face of overwhelming odds. MacKay and Cappuccio have created a compelling and unforgettable chapter in the X-Men's ongoing saga. Read Full Review
X-Men #10 is one of the best showcases of Cyclops as a leader. Cyclops wasted no time showing that everything he and the X-Men do is done with great thought. Even as their enemies try to seize on an opportunity Scott Summers had a plan in place to deal with the situation. In process their some intriguing developments that could have larger ramifications for the franchise. Read Full Review
X-Men #10 is one of the better issues in the series showcasing Scott's acceptance as leader of the X-Men and his position that the mutants are done being messed with by the government. Jed MacKay offers up a rare banger by escalating the drama and emotional energy, and the art team's output is darn good considering this issue is almost all dialog. Read Full Review
X-Men #10 excels at spotlighting Cyclops' tactical genius and delivering thrilling action through the Hellions while setting up compelling future storylines. However, its slower-paced dialogue scene and some characterization choices slightly detract from the issue's overall impact. Despite these minor flaws, it's a strong entry that balances character development and action, leaving readers eager for what's to come. Read Full Review
Incredible issue. Great writing and good art. I'm no fan of Cyclops, but this issue almost made me one. Magneto's part was great, he's handicapped but still willing to put it all on the line and too proud to ask for help. Cyclops to Quentin: "Why do you think you're on my team?" was great. I loved Cyclops' threat to meet force with force. "F around with me and find out what happens when the Phoenix gets here". Every page was brilliant, loved it.
If you like the Marvel style of the mid 90s, this book is for you. For me this is a far cry from the great X-Men stories of the past - a new low point in the publishing history of the X-books. It’s mind-boggling to me how anyone can say that this art is great or even solid. The writing isn’t much better either and I hate the fact that Cyclops is basically admitting that the X-Men are terrorists now.
