This is not the worst issue of Safe Space X-Men. At least there‘s a threat that’s not supernatural and the X-Men don’t get attacked on their own grounds. It’s nice to see them become more proactive. However, Vecchio‘s art is stiff and lifeless as usual and often confusing in the action scenes.

If you like the Marvel style of the mid 90s, this book is for you. For me this is a far cry from the great X-Men stories of the past - a new low point in the publishing history of the X-books. It's mind-boggling to me how anyone can say that this art is great or even solid. The writing isn't much better either and I hate the fact that Cyclops is basically admitting that the X-Men are terrorists n more
