The shocking revelation about the Speed Force and the intense action sequences make this issue a thrilling addition to the storyline. John Constantine continues to play both sides against each other including an attempt to work with the scarred Queen of the Vampires, who survived Damian's assassination attempt. It's a dark and bloody issue, with some of the most disturbing scenes of the series so far. Read Full Review

DC vs Vampires: World War V #5 moves the plot forward a decent bit, bringing multiple sub-plots together so that the narrative doesn't feel as scattershot. However, it is hard to feel too excited about how things will play out, having seen lackluster payoffs far too often when it comes to this series. The backup featuring Black Lightning was a neat little delight that ended satisfactorily, so maybe I can hope. Read Full Review

This was good. This was very good. Even beyond the more basic storytelling elements (like the fun, the black comedy...), this has turned into a very engaging drama.

    Spoilers ahead:

Vampire stories are about tricks and ilusions. It's a monster that used to be a person you knew so you don't want to even think they can do the things they're doing, you lie to yourself it can't be them but that's all it is, and that's were the horror comes. This series pulls it off very well.

Barda and Scott story is perfect. I'm in genuine awe in how they've turned a very silly premise into an actual interesting story and these two are the perfect exemplification because I kinda like both of them, I agree with both and I'm genui more

An explosive issue, plot-lines converge in pretty interesting ways. We discover why the vampires were growing so much human food, and it's clever, surprisingly but also horrifying.

Love the interactions between Scott and Barda, love the Constantine routine of working to pull of a deal in increasingly dangerous ways, love the twsits, love the tone, the writing is great, everything is just top tier story telling.

I'm torn on this one. The story is generally good, but it's so diluted with characters that it gets bogged down. The artwork is a little too loose for my taste. I would have like to see how Batgirl lived and she doesn't come off as much of a villain. We also don't know why the baby is so important adn the arc is almost over. I do like Barda's entrance and Constantine's scenes.

this was surprisingly good. I don't really like Matthew Rosenberg's writing because his writing is too "edgy" but this was entertaining
