Will the Titans survive the trappings of their nostalgic Nightmare, or will they survive to see the New Titans rise defiantly into the future?

    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

One of the most intriguing chapters of Titans in a while, Tate Brombal has wasted no time plunging the team into uncharted territory. Read Full Review

A bit of a speedrun goes down with ‘New Titans’ #35 as the new era for the youthful team continues. An overall solid affair for a conclusion to the arc, albeit one that could have done with maybe an additional issue or a shift in presentation. What the creative team is offering up though is still compelling enough. Read Full Review

Vic Stone’s dual lives come into focus as the Titans get some much needed answers to lingering plot threads. Brombal works in a great amount of reveals with the writing. The art teams shine brightest when there’s some emotional depth at hand. A curious finish ends this opening round with a future very uncertain. Read Full Review

Ultimately, the execution of the issue could have been a bit better, and the secret-keeping at the end is a tired trope. But there is a whole lot to like about the New Titans right now. They’re finally breaking away from the status quo, and I’m genuinely excited to see where it all goes. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez

New Titans #35 delivers a solid conclusion to Tate Brombal’s first story arc on the series, highlighting new team members along with further elevating Cyborg’s character post-DC K.O. It all helped to show there is a lot of potential with this series going forward. That said, with the conclusion of this arc we are left with the lingering question is what the team dynamic will ultimately look like. What the balance will be between the new and original Titans is hopefully answered in the next issue. Read Full Review
