Eternals #3 is a perfect balance between character building and furthering the plot. Gillen is doing an amazing job with this book so far, laying out who the Eternals are and progressing the story. This issue adds even more wrinkles to the plot, making things that much more interesting. Ribic's art continues to impress, even if his faces can be pretty weird sometimes. Eternals #3 keeps up the quality that this book is quickly becoming known for. Read Full Review
Overall, ETERNALS continues to be interesting, situational, and uses basic elements of storytelling to induct newer readers into the fold of these brand new characters. Gillen is the perfect writer for this job and I can't help but love the murder mystery style he's using to usher readers into this series. Now, even though I wish I received a bit more answers or clues as to who's behind this quandary, I'm still all in and can't wait for the next issue. There is so much to work with throughout this untapped series. Read Full Review
This issue was brought to you by the word: lush. From the art to the prose, youre in for a lush ride into a whole new world next door. Read Full Review
Eternals remains a darn good cosmic superhero comic. The spiral it's unspooling is one worthy of following. Read Full Review
Ribic delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout and the characters are brilliantly expressive. Read Full Review
I came to get some knowledge on the Eternals before the movie premieres, but I'm staying for this exciting game of Carnage Clue. Read Full Review
Eternals #3 fleshes out its cast while still delivering top-notch writing and artwork. The ending of the issue throws yet another wrinkle into the ongoing murder mystery, and with all the issues the Eternals are dealing with on top of that, there's plenty to keep this series going. Read Full Review
The Eternals have always dabbled in political intrigue, dipping their toes into the whole Game of Thrones or House of Cards of it all. Gillen increases that tenfold with this run, and it's a plot thread more evident than ever in this third issue here. Read Full Review
This comic puts the spotlight on the Eternal Thena but puts the brakes on the plot and murder mystery it set up before. This comic may or may not upset fans of Thena but it continues to establish the relationships of these long-lived beings. Sadly, this comic is pretty skippable except for a few details which the next issue will surely provide in the recap. Read Full Review
I'm really enjoying this series.
This issue felt more personal, much more focused on character development, and it helped to increase the mistery on a couple of plot threads, still very open. Interesting to see the godly murder mistery unfolding during the second half of the arc. Can't express how well this series has been constructed, writing, art, colors, as well as the editing. Loving it.
Outstanding stuff from Gillen. I actually took my time and enjoyed reading this one because it made me think. Esad Ribic is absolutely amazing yet again and you cannot say anything more than what was already said. Wilson's colors also are a perfect match!
Classy.
Bringing Thena into the conspiracy is an excuse to unpack her Deviant-loving character in a fascinating way. Ikaris provides top-notch comic relief in his brief scenes with the very human Robson family. And Druig kicks the plot-ball down the road at the end, reporting more murders in Polaria (which put him in charge of that city and make him a suspect). It's moving a bit slow, but when the visuals are this gorgeous and the prose is so razor sharp, taking one's time is no bad thing. This is a comic built to savor.
This series is only 3 issues in snd is some of the best stuff Marvel is putting out right now.
The character writing AND story writing is on point every page, Gillen is showing em how its done. Suprr consistent, no filler. We've managed to establish clearly, several characters, their relationships and their personal dispositions and expertly weave it into an ongoing narrative while including secondary stories that add palpable depth to each one.
This issue focuses on Thena and keep in mind I dont have some vast Eternals knowledge but I can confidently say I know her character well after reading this. Its great and perfect for reestablishing a brand often overlooked, but even beyond that it's just good storytelling.

Cool.
Loving how smart this is written. There's no flashy action scenes, but that doesn't mean that it's not exciting. Ribic's artwork was really good in this issue, giving a huge senses of depth in some panels.
A very good read. Excited to see what comes next.
There is no action really but, I am really liking the writing. Its not very exciting book but it keeps me interested in what its doing.

While Ikaris’ odd interest in the human adolescence, Toby Robson, garners the attention of the neighborhood, the Eternals continue their investigation into the mystery surrounding Zuras’ murder. Sersi and her group travel to Lemura to confront Thena but reluctantly clear her of any wrongdoing. Suddenly, Sersi receives a communication from Druig informing her of a massacre having occurred at Polaria, the Second City of the Eternals.

This is still good but I admit it felt a little dry at times.
