The best holiday tradition in comics returns in the next chapter of the epic Santa saga by visionary Grant Morrison and Eisner Award-nominated artist Dan Mora!
Klaus has to help an absentee dad-turned-snowman make amends before melting away for good. And probably before he's defeated by a pantheon of Norse Gods and their minions. All in a day's work for Santa Claus.

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, treat yourself to "Klaus and the Crying Snowman" #1, a bold, imaginative yuletide tale that balances the epic grandeur of interplanetary conflict with a tender, human-centered story of redemption and getting a second chance. Read Full Review

KLAUS AND THE CRYING SNOWMAN is a pretty light, basic story, but its premise is gold and its message beautiful. Dan Mora's art is incredible as always; he's the reason this mind-bending, bad-ass Santa Claus story is worth your $7.99. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Dec 21, 2018

Klaus and the Crying Snowman #1 is another great entry into the series. Even though I feel the story could have used a few more pages, it is still a great holiday read. It has everything we come to expect from a Klaus book. Great action, adventure, and heart as well. Dan Mora and Grant Morrison make a great creative team and this is another story not to miss! THE GOOD:

-This issue's opening was great. Intriguing and mysterious, making the reader curious about what's going to happen next.

-I love Dan Mora's art. It's so great, he should do more work with Grant.

-That writing had me in heaven. I am a Grant Morrison nerd, so this issue really pleased me.

-Those action scenes were quite amazing, I have nothing else to say.

-The Norse mythology ties were great as well.

-Sam was such an amazing character. Once again, that's all I have to say.

-That Screamer scene was so random but so funny. I loved it.

-The flying bagpipes were great in my opinion.

-I loved the defeat of the villains, not in any b more
