Any ways, this whole issue was a blast. With the bulk of the book in the old West, it feels like a 'done in one', completely thematically in line with a Terra Man story. So it just felt right. On top of that, somehow, we still get some progression of the main story to boot. This is the sort of issue you buy people who have left comics to lure them back. Read Full Review

Its another fun end to this story for a run thats just been a lot of fun to read. Not everything needs to be world ending melodrama, and Joshua really gets it. How long can we keep up with these Silver Age throwbacks, who knows, but Im here for the long haul. Read Full Review

Redondo and Filipe deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. I love how the visual styles complement each other in both character design and action. Read Full Review

Superman#10 may not flesh out the Wild Western Superman quite as well asSuperman#9 implied, but it is a fun issue that cuts to the heart of its concept well. Despite some clear flaws, the excellent artwork feels like a genuine means of honoring Westerns without getting caught by any of their typical trappings. It would have been nice to spend more time in this setting. Still, it will be nice to finally get to see the story behind Superman's newest enemies, as he inches towards concluding this arc. Superman #10 delivers a quick side adventure of Superman in the wild west. The story is written and drawn with the stylings of a classic spaghetti western story, with Superman center-stage against an old villain from his past. Unfortunately, the story is a pretty quick read, since the villain Superman fights isn't too interesting or difficult and is a very easy win for Superman any time of the day. Plus, what we learn about the new character Marilyn Moonlight, who was created in this series, is pretty disappointing. For now, Moonlight has just a cool design but not much else. Hopefully, more is done with her in future issues. On the plus side, the comic doesn't drag this side adventure for multiple issues like most comics would. It actually wraps this story up in one issue before bringing both Superman and the readers back to the present and to the main plot this series has been building up. Read Full Review
Superman #10 promised big things with an opportunity to tell the Marilyn Moonlight origin story but completely wastes the chance with a mediocre villain fight. If you skip this issue, you'll miss nothing. Read Full Review
It’s Superman in the Wild West. That’s just awesome. Come on.
Another stellar issue on an amazing run that gives an origin to an interesting new character, successfully revives an old forgotten villain, and introduces a new twist on an old concept involving the Revenge Squad! This is the best Superman run we’ve seen in decades! Plus the book is loads of FUN!
fun cool issue on superman being in the Wild West. Honestly, I love Joshua Williamson's voice for Superman. I think this might be my definitive Superman run.
A pretty fun issue. I must confess I'm glad it only took a single issue for Superman and Marilyn to get home, as most modern writers would make them trapped for a year or longer. It was cool seeing the classic Terra Man again. And the issue left off with a prelude to more excitement ahead. Pharm and Graft...Or Graft and Pharm, whichever is which now, I have no idea (and as of last issue I'm not sure Williamson does either) seeking to recruit Superman for their Luthor revenge squad. Should be interesting.
I really hope Superman doesn't take till Williamson's final issue to beat these guys. I';d like to see them get beaten, most likely with Lex's help so he'd get paroled early (which may have been his big plan all along, a plan even Phar more
It was a nice enough issue with some fun being had with Moonlight being her own inspiration for who she became and some Terra-Man non-sense, but it felt like it was mostly there to move the plot forward. Not bad by any means and I had fun but a bit lacking compared to other issues.
I do enjoy the Wild West but it was used to its fullest.
This was fun for what it was, but I don’t know that I needed it. Redondo’s art continues to be one of the strongest aspects of this book, which makes it kind of suck that he’s leaving after this issue. Though, David Baldeón is a good artist, so I’m hoping for good things in that regard for upcoming issues. As for the ending of this issue, I’m not really sure how i feel about the Lex Luthor Revenge Squad, but I’m willing to give it a chance.
This was a missed opportunity. The last issue ended with Nightwing and Babs in the old west, which is completely forgotten wit this one. They end up in the old west from the regular time line so Marilyn Moonlight can see herself younger. I would have rather seen the continuation of the end of the last issue. Then it so convenient for them to run into someone that had a time machine making it very simple for them to return. This side mission should have taken at least a couple of issues. I wish this better as Superman in the west could have been good.
