But Why Tho? - William Tucker Sep 20, 2023

Predator vs Wolverine #1 is filled with glorious violence. Two of the most bloodthirsty characters in fiction are brought together to do what both of them do best. Skipping between points in time is a nice tough, longer history for the Predators within this universe. Comics don’t get more hardcore than this. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Sep 20, 2023

Smartly done, Predator vs. Wolverine leans into the feral side of both its leads, showcasing their fighting ability and storied battle starting in 1900. As a four-part series, I can't wait to see how the relationship between these two killers evolves over a century and how mutual respect may form due to it. Capturing the brutality of both heroes, this Predator vs. Wolverine is a bloody good time. Read Full Review

The Comicbook Dispatch - StoryBabbler Sep 20, 2023

Predator vs. Wolverine #1 kicks off this new series as two deadly fighters clash. This issue is really about the first encounter that Wolverine has with this single hunter. Both of them are young in this issue as reflected in the art, and while the Predator doesn't have much to do until later in the comic, young Wolverine gets most of the spotlight and a lot of the best action in the comic. The final pages of the comic do a solid job setting up the fight between the two characters for the next issue that will feel very nostalgic to fans of the first Predator film. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett Sep 20, 2023

In the end Predator vs. Wolverine #1 is silly fun in the best possible way. When it was announced Marvel would be handling the Fox properties, we all imagined Alien and Predator attacks on our favorite Marvel characters and here we are. This is a brainless blockbuster in every fantastic way. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Read Full Review

Things are left in an intriguing place for the remaining issues of Predator vs. Wolverine, and as long as they can get the visuals in a fun place for the rest of the story (and complete Ken Lashley's part of the narrative) it's looking like a big win for Marvel. Read Full Review
