Even though it ties into Fall of The House of X, Avengers #12 feels entirely like an Avengers comic. Read Full Review

Avengers #12 is a stellar tie-in to the ongoing X-Men comics that expands on the global war against Orchis while allowing the protagonists to shine as noble and capable heroes. Read Full Review
What's helpful about this type of tie-in is it takes the main story beats and adapts them to the Avengers title, focusing on M.O.D.O.K. and 3-D MAN as Orchis antagonists. The Avengers work well together, and the issue even references events in the new Captain Marvel series. Read Full Review
This Avengers issue was great. The Avengers' plan to confront Orchis was a success, they have even done more for mutants than the X-men themselves. The appearance of 3d man as a villain feels a bit forced because I think they could have used someone from the central column of Orchis, but he complements it with his strategy to face the Avengers, in fact I think he could have been a central member if I would have proposed it.
I thought this was fun for what it was. The Avengers getting involved in the current X-Men situation is cool and I appreciate this stuff going past just the “X-books.” This wasn’t my favorite issue or anything, but I still think this was a fun read. MacKay seems to have a nice grasp on the characters and I also thought Mortarino did a super solid job on the art duties.
I like that the Avengers are finally fully getting involved with the Krakoa stuff, but if you aren't reading that, you can still enjoy this.
Plot
Tony Stark waited for a long time for the world to realize the evil that the Orchis organization is, he sustained his frustration for a long time while this organization used his technology to create Sentinels and eliminate Krakoa and thousands of mutants, now he is ready to attack with the Avengers.
Orchis led by M.O.D.O.K and 3D Man prepare war but for The Impossible City.
This comic serves as support for the closing of the X-men event called Fall of menu
Art
It's textured and organic, with great large-scale action sequences.
