There are plenty of ways this can continue to go as it progresses, and in ways that can leave interesting openings after the events of Return of the Jedi as well. I'm really unsure as to whether we want to see these characters come to a close before the big finale of that trilogy or if we want to leave it open for use after the fact in other properties. Either way, I'm definitely enjoying seeing Pak play with the handmaiden characters and expand on their use some since I enjoyed them in the novels that I've read. Luke Ross continues to work well with these characters and settings and just getting more time inside Imperial facilities is rather welcome since we've been on other worlds and locations so much recently. I'm still in the mindset of things have been drawn out and not quite as declarative as it needs to be in this series for a bit but I'm enjoying it overall. Read Full Review
The double-crosses and switched identities persist with Vader and many of Padm's former handmaids, to the point that even trying to break down the plot here would be a pointless task, given how many fakeouts each character is witness to. Read Full Review
It seems that if they want to find Sabe, her friends must jump into Imperial flames to do so. Powerless to do anything else for the time being, they decide to stay with the person she reports to. Read Full Review
Darth Vader #30 takes some unexpected turns as Darth Vader takes the one captured handmaiden at his disposal, Dorm (who can't believe Sab is willing serving the Empire), to bring the others out of hiding. Read Full Review
Its alright, read it if you want to read it, otherwise do not. Certainly might help to understand the events of the Hidden Empire story but they do not seem to be making it as necessary to understanding what is going on as it was in War of the Bounty Hunters. Read Full Review
This was really good. I like how Vader not only battles them but manipulates them as well. I think he could have wiped them out at any time, but it seemed as if he wanted to teach them a lesson. He knew he could use them. Then the villain (if that's what he is) compiled all the droids that Vader destroyed to study him. That's pretty cool.
