Mar 04, 2026X-Men #26 delivers a compelling narrative that effectively pushes the story ahead. With the introduction of a new antagonist and a cliffhanger ending, this issue offers an engaging experience. The main X-Men storyline continues to propel the Shadows of Tomorrow event, and this installment is no exception. Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez
Mar 04, 2026X-Men #26 is a masterclass in building tension through silence and procedure. MacKay and Diaz successfully pivot from global stakes to a chilling local mystery that feels deeply personal for the team. The artwork is gorgeous and captures the desolate beauty of the Alaskan frontier with impressive precision. While the issue focuses heavily on establishing the next conflict, the high-quality execution ensures that readers remain fully engaged. This issue is a mandatory addition to any serious pull list and earns its place in a crowded market. Read Full Review

Mar 04, 2026X-Men #26 opens up a new story arc for the Alaskan X-Men. The new art team does an excellent job, and the story for at least the next four issues is set up without too much exposition. Read Full Review

KPB Comics - A.S Tiger
Mar 04, 2026X-Men #26 is a sturdy start to a new arc, featuring a new threat for the team to deal with. Jed MacKay’s writing is strongest in the sequences involving Glob and Greycrow, setting up intriguing story threads there. However, the issue itself is mostly set-up for yet another villain group, and in a story that moves slowly at times and seems meandering, X-Men #26 sadly doesn’t offer anything new. Read Full Review

Mar 10, 2026All in all, I love it when everyone in a team book has something to do. This issue feels fresh and serves as a strong restart point for the title. Jed has put together a well-structured book that kept me turning pages, and I’m excited to see where the story goes next. Read Full Review

Last issue we went from looking for Doug, to killing Nazi mutants and now this. The X-Men are exploring the rural town of of Merle and get trapped in what appears to be a new "Danger Room" being run with the help of ONE. What happened to the search for Doug ? Just gone. This series has shifted to fragments of ideas vs a fleshed out story. IDK what's even happening anymore. I feel like I'm missing issues. The art is a mess. some pages look good, like a mix of Todd then trash 90s art. This issue is just weird and starts a new storyline when we did that last issue. Just awful stuff from a X office that stinks lately.

The writing is stupid beyond comprehension and Diaz‘s art sucks as usual. Why am I still reading this crap?
