    Kara Zor-El leads the Superfamily into investigating General Zod's activities in Supergirl #16, which does a lot to show the Girl of Steel has what it takes to succeed Superman as Earth's Kryptonian hero. Read Full Review

    My only disappointment is the exclusion of both Power Girl and Super-Man (Kong Kenan), but that’s truly a minor quibble. Overall ‘Supergirl 16’ was a great issue regardless of it being the beginning of a bigger story. If anything it was worth reading just for the rematch between Conner and Prime. Read Full Review

    General Zod begins his reign over the Kryptonite Kingdom of El Caldero in Supergirl #16. Kingdom of Zod is off to a promising start thanks to a great narrative from Sophie Campbell and an art team that used not one, but two different art styles to bring this issue to life. Kara Zor-El and her allies are in for a fight of their lives going forward, and if this first issue is any indication, we are in for another great Kryptonian family crossover. Read Full Review

    Supergirl #16 has the difficult job of being both a Supergirl issue and the opening chapter of a major Superman crossover. Fortunately, Sophie Campbell seems determined not to let the crossover swallow the series.
