Laura Kinney WOLVERINE issue 2 blew me away (pun intended). The dialogue continued in such an engaging way, while watching Laura and Elektra do what they do best. Throw some politics in there, nods to some other big time New Yorkers, and connect to the overall Krakoa story, and you have a perfect Wolverine issue. Much like Logan, Laura truly is the best at what she does. I can't wait to see more of Laura Kinney as Wolverine. This is an absolute 10 out of 10 SNIKTS for me. Read Full Review
Schultz is doing a really good job of rendering her own little corner of everything. And its very cool seeing it put together. With any luck, both of her surgeries will continue for quite some time, and she will be able to continue to carve out her own area. It really seems like shes got some serious momentum going in her own areas with two very distinctly interesting characters that come together quite well on the page for this particular issue. This action packed issue is a study of the difference between Laura and her more experienced ally that shows of Laura in a more stab first ask questions later role as the creative team highlight how Laura's emotional investment in helping out mutants being used by others can also be a liability when the situation calls for a more circumspect approach, with tragic results. I liked this better than the first issue. The pacing felt better here, which does help when you make the story more than one issue, unlike last time. Furthermore, Belviso's art is really nice, for the most part. I think it not only fits in with the story, but Laura's character overall as well.
Extremely bad. This is a comic that goes out of it's way to make sure no one is enjoying it. Calling this amatuerish would be an upgrade. Right, Wolverine. That's right, Daredevil. Thanks for asking, Daredevil. No problem, Wolverine. Arts not too bad.
